After arriving at An Thoi port, you will board a fishing boat to the An Thoi archipelago. The boat will drop anchor in a quiet bay, allowing visitors to drop a line and hopefully catch some garrupas or snappers. After a morning of fishing, a special barbecue seafood lunch will be served on board.

Lunch will be served then return to the hotel, where you will transfer to Phu Quoc to board the boat to Rach Gia. On arrival, transfer to Chau Doc by bus. Overnight stay in hotel.

Day 3: Chau Doc (River Cruise and Mountain Trekking)

After breakfast at the hotel, we take a boat ride cruising to the floating village (fish farm) and Cham minority village to witness a weaving workshop which produces the colourful traditional wears (sarongs and towels). It is then back to Chau Doc for a visit to Chua Xu Lady' s temple and cave pagoda at the foot of Sam Mountain.

After this we head to Sam Mountain - the highest mountain in the Mekong Delta. On the way there, you can enjoy the sights of the two rice fields along the road, and drop in for a short visit to a small Khmer village. You will then take a short walk up on mountain side to see the daily life of the mountain people, having lunch on the way.

Then you will visit Tuc Dup (the Two Million Dollar Hill), which is a bold hill deep in the Mekong Delta where between late 1968 and early 1969 it was defended against overwhelming odds. The defenders kept the full force of the American army at bay for 128 days of continuous bombardment. Two million dollars is said to be the cost of the firepower the Americans used in their vain attempt to capture this isolated stronghold.

Once here, explore freely around hidden caves interconnected by a labyrinth of natural tunnels and paths, under ground meeting rooms, hospital, living quarters, stores and command H.Q. (most have been fully restored). It is then back to Sam Mountain to admire the grand view of Mekong Delta from the summit, watching the sunset over Cambodia. Overnight stay at a hotel in Chau Doc.

Day 4: Phnom Penh

From Chau Doc, you will transfer to Phnom Penh and check in on arrival. After having lunch you will tour around Phnom Penh, visiting the Royal Palace, National Museum, Silver Pagoda, Independent Monument, S-21 and the Russian Market. After dinner, the night is yours to relax or explore further.

After breakfast and a short rest, we will join in a boat trip to visit Tonle Sap and the Mekong Rivers. Take a visit to the small community of the fishermen and the floating village located at the north branch of the Mekong River to learn more about their daily lives. Enjoy sunset on Mekong River as a perfect end to your tour.
